The Haven at National Harbor Model Home Overview

Homebuilder, Planned Community, Purchasing Information

The Haven at National Harbor, Maryland.

Many of the articles in this model home overview series have covered townhomes and single-family detached home communities. All of those communities have been fun to explore, but it’s rare to find a condo community like the one we’re visiting today.

Created by Peterson Companies, The Haven at National Harbor is a quiet, yet ultra-convenient resort-style neighborhood of condominiums overlooking the Potomac River. Located on the Maryland side of the river, it’s just minutes from Alexandria. The community itself offers a wide range of amenities. Shops and restaurants are located right outside the front door, the gym rivals any upscale facility in the area, and the property is equipped with meeting spaces for those who work from home.

The best thing about this community from the buyer’s perspective is the ability to purchase a home that fits your exact needs. Choose from eight different floor plans ranging from the studio all the way up to three-bedroom units. When it comes to design, you can bet your unit will have it all: high-end appliances, luxury finishes, and the latest fixture trends. So let’s jump right in and take a look at the different models.

One-bedroom units

As we mentioned earlier, these floor plans were designed to fit your specific needs. The studio and one-bedroom models are a fantastic example of this. While it may be the smallest of these floor plans, the studio still has a cozy separate bedroom.

The studio unit has around 500 hundred square feet of living space, but one of the great features of The Haven at National Harbor is that you don’t really need a ton of space in your unit because of the abundance of common areas and meeting spaces.

If you do need a little more space there are two other options in the one-bedroom floor plans that may fit your needs. There are two major differences between the models. The 1D model has a bit less living room and kitchen space than 1C, but you get a balcony in this model to make up for the lack of indoor living area. As you can see there is a lot to think about even in the one-bedroom category. Let’s move on to some of the larger units.

Two- and three-bedroom units

If you’re looking for a little more space, this community definitely has you covered there as well. There are still five more floor plans to choose from in the two- and three-bedroom categories. The two-bedroom floor plans each feature a balcony and similar layouts.

Of these, the one that best fits your needs is totally based on personal preference. On the other hand, the three-bedroom models are vastly different in size and layout. The first of the two three-bedroom floor plans have an expansive single-level layout. The second of those is a two-level, loft-style floor plan with a soaring ceiling in the living room. With so much to choose from, it’s best to see it all first hand. If you’re in the market for a new construction condo, look no further than The Haven at National Harbor. These units are selling quickly, so get a virtual visit today.
