You’ll be hard-pressed to find a better home and location than Eisenhower Square by Toll Brothers. Located just minutes from the future home of Amazon’s HQ2 campus and a short bike or Metro ride to downtown Alexandria, this modern townhome community is in the heart of it all. Once inside the community you’ll easily forget the city outside. The beautiful landscapes, thought-provoking sculptures, and open green spaces provide a much-needed getaway from the hustle and bustle.

As for the homes themselves, Eisenhower Square offers large open spaces, rooms full of natural light, and sharp modern finishes. For this article, we’re giving an overview of Eisenhower Square and the surrounding area. So, to kick things off let’s talk about some of the perks of this location.

Alexandria

Finding a location like this in the metro area is rare, and Toll Brothers picked a fantastic spot for those who might work in D.C. and enjoy the slower pace of Alexandria on the weekends. Eisenhower Square’s close proximity to I495 and the Metro lines make the commute to D.C. a breeze.

When the week is done, a short Uber or bike ride will take you right down to Old Town Alexandria. Enjoy strolling along the Potomac, exploring the over 200 shops and restaurants, and visiting historic museums in your free time. Not many small towns in the U.S. has as much to offer residents as Alexandria does. There’s a reason why it was voted one of the top three best cities in the U.S. just this year. But, what if you prefer to just stay in on the weekends and unwind? Eisenhower Square has you covered there too.

Modern townhome design

Some examples of modern design in new construction are cold and bland, but that’s not the case at Eisenhower Square. Many aspects of these townhomes are sleek and contemporary, but Toll Brothers didn’t sacrifice comfort and warmth in their efforts to achieve a minimal style—these are well-designed, luxury homes with elegant and well-appointed finishes.

A large open foyer on the lower level invites you in. From there you’ll take the stairs up to the living area on the main level. The kitchen features stainless appliances, a large center island, and a breakfast bar which the chef in your house is sure to love. Attached to the kitchen is a spacious great room, perfect for entertaining. Or, take the party outside on the back deck. And we haven’t even made it to the bedroom level yet. Wait until you see the size of the master suite in these homes. You basically have your own private retreat upstairs. Above your head is an amazing rooftop terrace that’s sure to become your favorite hangout spot.

In the neighborhood

As for the design and layout of the neighborhood itself, Eisenhower Square is top-notch. The townhomes are situated in a horseshoe shape around an attractive central park. Sidewalks and benches make the grassy space a perfect meeting place for friends in the neighborhood or a relaxing spot to read on a nice day.

From here you can easily walk out of the neighborhood to one of the many restaurants or shops that surround Eisenhower Square. Alexandria is right down the road, but you don’t need to go any further than across the street to get a bite to eat if you’re looking to stay close to home. Not to mention the several popular shopping districts within walking distance of the neighborhood. Eisenhower Square is a definite winner. Toll Brothers has pulled out all the stops once again, offering luxury, comfort, and overall value to shoppers looking for the perfect spot to call home. There are few places in the metro area that feel quite as charming and inviting as this little neighborhood. With Old Town just minutes away and D.C. right down the road, the location is perfect. The next step is going to check them out in person. These homes are ready to tour, and we suggest going on one sooner rather than later. We have a feeling they won’t last very long.
